Quality is our Mission at ORHC

Osceola Regional Health Center (ORHC) is dedicated to excellence in health care for the communities that we serve.

Osceola Regional Health Center’s Quality Improvement Program has its foundation in ORHC’s Mission which is to enhance and improve the quality of life of the population it serves, to be the area’s premier health care service provider and to have a positive impact on the lives of the people and community it serves.

ORHC’s Quality Improvement Program is a systematic, coordinated, multi-disciplinary and continuous approach to improving performance focusing upon the processes and systems that affect both the delivery of our services and patient outcomes according to Kathy Winter MLS (ASCP) Quality Director.

As part of the ORHC Quality Plan all services are tasked with developing metrics and goals to ensure the quality of each service that we deliver. These metrics are tracked and reported to the Quality Committee, the Medical Staff and the Board of Trustees. Quality metrics and goals are department specific and range from monitoring hospital acquired infections to maintenance generator checks. These metrics provide us with data driven analysis to improve processes.

Our aim is to engage and inform our community of this data. Community members can look forward to monthly spotlights to learn what we’re doing to ensure they receive quality care, no matter the department. Although our employees each shine in their unique areas of expertise, it is truly a team effort.
