On March 13, 2023, Osceola Regional Health Center’s Chief Executive Officer, Ben Davis, announced his resignation after 6 years of service to the organization. His last day is scheduled for May 12, 2023.

The Board of Trustees determined an interim CEO was necessary to bridge the time period from Davis’s departure to the arrival of the new CEO. Osceola Regional Health Center is pleased to announce that the Board of Trustees has named Nate McCormick as the Interim CEO. While Nate will continue in his current role as Vice President of Ancillary, Clinics and Community Service at Lakes Regional Healthcare, he will modify his current duties to meet the CEO responsibilities.

Nate is a Nebraska native working in healthcare for over 20 years, serving the Northwest, Iowa region for the last 10 years. From nuclear medicine, to managing clinic operations, to serving as Interim Vice President for Emergency Room and Outpatient Services to his role now, Nates background is extensive and his desire towards collaborative, servant leadership is what has led him to this point in his career.  He is married to his wife Jessica and has three children. He is an active member of the Iowa Hospital Association Council on Representation and Advocacy and Avera Public Policy Advisory Council and serves as the Vice Chair of the Iowa Great Lakes Chamber of Commerce. 

Nate McCormick will begin transitioning into the role of Interim CEO on May 3, 2023.

The Board of Trustees formulated a Search Committee who has been diligently seeking a permanent replacement. The position has been posted and is currently accepting applications.
