ORHC Celebrates National Hospital Week and Prepares for the Future

Each May, healthcare organizations across the country recognize and celebrate the exemplary efforts of healthcare professionals by commemorating both National Nurses Week and National Hospital Week.

This year’s recognition takes on new meaning as our employees care for patients in the midst of a global pandemic unlike any we have ever seen. Whether they are nurses in the Emergency Department, housekeepers on a nursing unit or purchasing departments acquiring personal protective equipment (PPE), each of our outstanding employees is playing an important role in supporting the needs of our patients and community.

During this time, Osceola Regional Health Center remains focused on patient care and the well-being of our staff and community. Over the past two months we have seen our healthcare community come together to implement processes and protocols to keep our patients, community and staff safe during this time of unprecedented change and uncertainty. What is certain, is that we have an amazing group of healthcare professionals at Osceola Regional Health Center and I am proud to work alongside them every day.

Osceola Regional Health Center remains, a safe place to receive medical care and attention during this COVID-19 pandemic. Our entire medical and support staff take every precaution to stop the spread of COVID-19, through proper use of personal protective equipment, diligent hand washing, personal hygiene and social distancing when necessary.

The safety and health of our patients and staff is our top priority. We will continue to make adjustments as needed in order to meet the needs of our community. We do ask that you call the office with any questions and visit us only if you have a scheduled appointment.

We are fortunate and grateful to have such a fine team of healthcare heroes working every day to support our mission of “Quality, Service and Impact”. Their passion and commitment to our patients is what allows us to be a trusted provider of healthcare for our community. I am honored to work alongside them and would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to these talented professionals for the exemplary work they do every day during National Hospital Week.

Sincerely,

Ben Davis, CEO
